“Ever since I was young, I would get a ‘feeling’ upon entering a space. It could be any type of feeling from being energized to feeling uncomfortable and have always wondered ‘Why do I feel this way in this space?’ I have always been intrigued by the psychology behind interior design. Using the basic design principles of scale, proportion, balance, rhythm, emphasis and harmony, plus color and lighting, one can create a specific feeling for a space. However, the ‘whys’ still kept popping up in my mind. In the last few years, I have embraced the ancient Chinese study of living in harmony with nature, known as Feng Shui. This has given me many answers to my intuition and has brought a new dimension and energy to the spaces. Now, with a simple, common sense approach of feng shui and the principles of design, I am happy to find answers to my questions and I am looking forward to helping find the answers for your special space.”
